When this busy family of four placed an offer on their new home, they knew right away that the kitchen needed a major overhaul. The original kitchen, straight out of another era, was functional but far from ideal. Adding to the challenge was a large, obstructive wall that separated the kitchen from the main living area, making the space feel cramped and disconnected. The solution? A complete gut job! 

We started by tearing down that problematic wall, instantly transforming the flow of the entire space. To keep the renovation budget-friendly, we retained the original kitchen layout but infused it with smart customizations and upgrades that elevated the space. With the wall gone, we extended the countertops, creating a more spacious kitchen with ample storage and workspace. One of the standout features? A custom, extra-large pantry that provided the family with plenty of room to keep everything organized. 

Understanding the needs of the young, busy family, we selected flat-front cabinetry for its sleek appearance and easy maintenance. The cabinets are not only anti-microbial and water- resistant but also absolutely gorgeous. Complimented by hardware in an antique brass finish, they bring a touch of timeless elegance to this kitchen. 

The family also opted for a multi-tonal backsplash, which, while still neutral, added depth and dimension, really making it a focal point. To make the kitchen functional as it is beautiful, we installed Wi-Fi enabled appliances and added thoughtful touches like a revolving tray to maximize the corner cabinet space, extra outlets for convenience, an oversized sink with a designer faucet, and fresh paint to tie it all together. 

Now, the kitchen seamlessly opens up to the main living area, offering an inviting open floor plan perfect for both dining and entertaining. With ample prep and storage space, this kitchen truly is the heart of the home!
