Marco

Emotional Support Hubby

We got married way back in 2005. And like many South Floridians, we used to live and work in New York City and migrated to Florida but did it at a much earlier age than most. The summer sun and salty air called our names early on.

Like many guys in Florida, Marco enjoys the beach, golf, and pickleball. He’s very active with our kids’ sporting events and likes to unwind with the History and Discovery channels. I can attest to this (having been to subjected to more than one episode on Aliens, Sasquatches and military documentaries!).

Marco is definitely my emotional support hubby. He’s one of the smartest people I know. He went to undergrad at Georgetown’s Business School and he got his MBA from UNC. He’s a great combination of entrepreneur, business operator, and executive. And all of this experience has qualified him for his current job as President of a nationwide healthcare company.

Needless to say, he clearly serves as my emotional support hubby by providing expert business advice when needed. And believe it or not, he has a creative flair as well and likes to weigh in on some home design and decor ideas. His true forte is in helping to design outdoor spaces. And he also loves the times when function and form unite! He always supports my bold decisions and has encouraged me to go big whenever possible.

Together, we have two teenage kids: our daughter, Anna, and our son, Alex. They are the best but like most teens, they don’t like their photos posted…hence why the design team has been taken over by our furbabies. Our daughter Anna is bright, taking advanced classes at school, and has the biggest heart. She loves to figure skate, draw, and get creative with multi-media projects. Our son, Alex, loves football. Any way he can get it – tackle, flag, play in the yard with his buddies, throw a football in the pool – yep, you get the idea. Like many teenage boys, he also loves to play games with his friends. He’s also so smart, kind, and has the best sense of humor. Like Anna, he melts my heart.

On the weekends, as a family, we spend most of our time supporting the kids in their athletic activities. But we all love to go to the beach, have family dinners, skiing vacations, and travel.
