Wellington Chic Guest Bathroom

About

Savvy Investor

Given that this home is an investment property, it was important for the owner to be as cost-effective as possible. However, this client was incredibly savvy and understood when and where to spend money. In order to stay cost-effective when redesigning this bathroom, the layout stayed the same. That’s not to say that we didn’t make big changes.

It all started with the outdated, single vanity and the floor-to-ceiling linen closet–both those items had to go. By doing so, we were able to add a dual sink vanity and extend the counter to make it even more spacious for anyone getting ready, while also replacing the storage space that was removed with the linen closet.

We used cabinetry by Lioher USA, which is not only stunning but also durable. I’m talking antimicrobial, water resistant, scratch resistant – you get it. Perfect not only for investment homes, but also homes with busy families.

In order to add those designer touches, I installed cabinetry in a beautiful navy blue color with impressive gold pulls, extended the shower tile to the ceiling, added gold Delta fixtures, affixed accent lights, and effectively mixed metals with black curved-edged mirrors. Everyone enjoys a bathroom with a spa-like or zen-like feel, and to help accomplish that, we painted the walls in a soft beige color and kept the color palette simple.
